How this site works, legally.

Sell My Stuff For Me (sellmystuffforme.com) is a product of EstateSaleFinder LLC, based in Largo, Florida. It is a sister to https://estatesalefinder.net. These notes are in plain language. The binding rules are in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

We are a directory. We are not the seller.

We introduce people who have stuff with people who already sell on Whatnot, eBay, Poshmark, and similar sites. That is the whole product.

EstateSaleFinder LLC does not:

• take your items into our possession
• run the live show or write the eBay listing
• hold your money or the buyer's money
• take a percentage of what sells
• employ the people you hire
• act as your auctioneer, consignee, broker, or agent

The consignment — pickup, commission, payout, unsold items — is a private agreement between you and the seller you choose. We are not a party to that agreement.

Sellers are independent businesses

People who pay to be listed are subscribers, not our employees or subcontractors. They set their own commission, their own specialties, and how they sell. If they auction other people's goods, take possession of used items, or collect sales tax, that is their license and tax problem — not ours. We may ask them to confirm they are allowed to do the work. A “Featured” or “Verified” badge only means what we describe on the profile. It is not a guarantee, a background check, a bond, or a license.

Featured listings are paid placement

The $49 Featured plan is advertising. Featured sellers may appear higher in search. That rank is not a quality score and is not a recommendation that you hire them.

No guarantee they sell, or what you get paid

Looking around is free. You only pay the seller you hire, on the terms you two agree. We do not promise a sale, a price, a timeline, or that a seller will take your items. Read their profile, read the reviews, and get the deal in writing before anything leaves the house.

You have to own it (or have the right to sell it)

Don't list items you don't own or don't have authority to sell — including estate property when you are not the personal representative. Stolen, recalled, or illegal goods are not allowed. We can remove listings and accounts.

Reviews

Reviews must be first-hand. We may remove reviews that are fake, off-topic, or abusive. A review is that person's opinion, not ours.
